Craig Green and adidas Boost and Split the Stan Smith In Half

British designer Craig Green has a long-standing relationship with adidas, experimenting with classic silhouettes in new and innovative ways. Most recently, Green revitalized the CG SCUBA PHORMAR with Stan Smith uppers while taking on the adidas Squash Polta AKH earlier this year.

For his next endeavor, the inventive designer officially debuts the CG BOOST STAN and the CG SPLIT STAN — first revealed at his Spring/Summer 2023 runway show. Green brings a progressive approach to the classic tennis shoe, cutting it in half and enveloping it in Boost foam. The CG SPLIT STAN dons sliced premium leather accents and arrives in “White,” “Black,” and “Khaki” colorways. The monochrome designs boast raised throat strips and three-dimensional Stan Smith branding, complete with tonal rubber midsoles.

The ultra-comfortable CG BOOST STAN is made entirely from adidas BOOST technology, featuring medial perforations and Craig Green-branded midsole plaques. The revolutionary offering is available in “White,” “Black,” and “Silver” hues.
