Part of the fun of being an outside spectator of fashion week is looking at what people are wearing. During London Fashion Week‘s Spring/Summer 2024 season, Hypebeast was on the ground to capture what kind of footwear people of London are wearing.

In seasons and fashion weeks past, titular sneaker brand Nike has been the popular choice amongst showgoers. Appearing to continue the trends seen at Seoul Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week this season, Nike was still the main brand of choice when it comes to versatile, comfortable and everyday shoes. Though, specific collaborations like the Martine Rose x Nike Shox Mule MR4 continue to make a prominent appearance. It comes as no surprise that the London-based designer’s hit collaborative shoe takes the British city by storm. In other Nike collaborations, Ancuta Sarca‘s upcycled football boot turned high heel catches onlookers’ attentions. Sarca is now a household name in U.K. fashion, after she was included in The British Fashion Council’s BFC NEWGEN scheme.

In collaborations, the Wales Bonner x adidas Samba made an appearance alongside the Balenciaga x Crocs Boot, as did the Comme Des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike Air Max Sunder, often seen worn during fashion weeks, proving that it is a timeless partnership. Other technical sneakers in the form of Asics and Alpinestars shoes gear up for a functionality. Aside from sneakers, the London crowd leaned towards loafers such as ones from Prada and Christian Louboutin, bringing a whimsical flare to London Fashion Week.

Take a look above at some of the footwear trends spotted during London Fashion Week.

In case you missed it, here is the best street style from LFW SS24.
