Clarks Originals Taps Daniëlle Cathari for Vibrant Wallabee Collection

Using a combination of smooth and fuzzy suede fabrications.

Following the release of its collaborative Wallabee silhouette with London-based pirate radio station, Kurupt FM, British footwear brand Clarks Originals is now putting another new spin on its classic Wallabee, but this time, the label has enlisted Dutch designer, Daniëlle Cathari as its collaborator.

Standing as Cathari’s first collaboration with Clarks Originals, the designer’s newly-presented interpretation of the Wallabee embraces her playful femininity and subversive spirit, utilizing a slew of textures and shades across a melange of different colorways.

Through the use of the Wallabee’s classic asymmetric upper, Cathari reworks its traditional formation with a collection of smooth and fuzzy suede fabrications — with all of the fabrics sourced from the same family-run tannery Clarks Originals has worked with for decades.

Meanwhile, the Wallabee’s underfoot features the same classic pebble-crepe outsole, while the introduction of suede keyholders sits alongside a line of debossed Daniëlle Cathari x Clarks Originals branding on the distinctive logo fobs.

Available in various colorways; from pink, green, and purple to red, navy, and brown, you can check out the new Daniëlle Cathari x Clarks Originals collaboration above and it’s available to shop via the official Clarks Originals website now.
