Take a First Glimpse at Timothée Chalamet and Hugh Grant In 'Wonka'

Anticipation is high for Warner Bros. prequel film Wonka starring Timothée Chalamet, seeing fans worldwide eager for a first look. While we’ve already seen Chalamet in costume, we now glimpse the stars in action.
The first and only image revealed shows Timothée Chalamet as the mischievous lead chocolatier, conversing with Hugh Grant, one of Wonka’s Oompa Loompas. Chalamet sits at his desk wearing a striped shirt and puffed scarf, while Grant appears as a 20-inch-tall orange-faced Oompa Loompa. He is dressed in classic Oompa Loompa uniform featuring a petite knitted suit, pointed shoes, and green hair.
Wonka is scheduled to premiere later this year, seeing Chalamet sing and dance throughout the musical adaptation. The tailored version of Roald Dahl’s 1964 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will show young Willy Wonka discovering the enchanting world of chocolate alongside co-stars Keegan-Michael Key, Rowan Atkinson, Olivia Colman, Jim Carter, and Matt Lucas.
