Released just a little over a year ago.

Central Cee may be early on in his career but the British rapper is already poised to make music history. His song “Doja” has just become the most-streamed rap song by a UK artist on Spotify, according to Chart Data.

The track was released in July of last year and subsequently went viral on TikTok. Produced by LiTek and WhyJay, it samples Eve’s 2001 single “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” featuring Gwen Stefani. It also received the music video treatment courtesy of Cole Bennett.

A year later, the song has amassed over 470,000,000 streams on Spotify, breaking the record for a UK rap song in the process.

While “Doja” is his most popular song by far, both Central Cee’s “Sprinter” and “LET GO,” have surpassed 100,000,000 streams and 200,000,000 streams on Spotify, respectively.

In other music news, Victoria Monét announced her debut headlining tour.
