Kingston School of Art is among London’s top fashion universities, constantly pushing out emerging talent with an eye for greatness. Smilier to Central Saint Martins and the University of Westminster, Kingston School of Art has just sent its bachelor students into the world, bidding farewell to academic grounds with their graduate collections.

Kingston School of Art welcomed guests into Oxo Tower Wharf in London’s South Bank on the last day of London Fashion Week to experience the magic. The showcase saw 21 students send several looks down the runway, largely dominated by kinky latex, dapper tailoring, and streetwear inspirations. Five graduates received awards for outstanding design, topping their class in creativity and craftsmanship.

Charles Francis Hemsley was named the winner of outstanding menswear, aiming to jazz up traditional garments for the queer community. The eight-look collection was made from upcycled textiles and took inspiration from Hal Fisher’s Gay Semiotics 1970s photographs. Elsewhere, the award for outstanding 3D design was given to Venetia Williams, exploring her mother’s artistic roots through linked aluminum chainmail garments with a story to tell.

Take a look at all collections from Kingston School of Art’s 2023 BA graduating class above.

In other news, Saul Nash’s SS24 collection “Intersection” makes beach days fluid with dance.
