Following the announcement of a collaborative project with South Korean streetwear label thisisneverthat as well as its Northern Lights-inspired MT-G watch, G-SHOCK is making its presence felt in the watch world by announcing its latest FROGMAN offering. This latest installment of the classic timepiece has been created to commemorate the DW-8200NT’s 30th anniversary.

The bold offering comes styled with a red hot case and strap. A major modification has been integrated into its build to make its manufacturing process more friendly to the Earth. A bio-based resin has been applied to the bezel and band to reduce environmental impact, and a new solar panel that faithfully translates the shape of the DW-8200NT’s dial and supports the watch’s Tough Solar power system has been brought to life. In terms of special branding, G-SHOCK has positioned FROGMAN 30th anniversary insignias in engraved fashion atop the back of the titanium cases and the displays, the latter of which is visible when illuminated. Other qualities to note include the fact that it possesses an ISO standard of 200 meters for diving, can adapt to 31 time zones, and features a moon phase, a tide graph, a stopwatch, a countdown timer and the ability to set five daily alarms.
