UPDATE, June 9, 2023: The rumors were true — Drake has jumped on J Hus‘ new single, “Who Told You.”

The new single follows up on J Hus’ “It’s Crazy,” and he is set to drop this and more upon the release of his upcoming album, DON’T SAY MILITANCY.

You can listen to J Hus “Who Told You” featuring Drake on Spotify and Apple Music, now.

Original, June 8, 2023: Drake loves UK rap and the culture around it — “One Dance,” for example, shouted out UK funky house, and he’s frequently linked up with the likes of Dave, Skepta, Giggs, and of course J Hus, who joined Drake on his 2019 UK tour. Now, it’s the latter rapper — J Hus — who is in the spotlight again, as rumors are circulating that he and Drake are set to drop a new track together today.

Titled “Who Told You,” the track pulls heavily from J Hus’ afroswing sounds, something the Stratford, London-born-and-bred rapper has pioneered.

While still a rumor, it does seem highly likely this is dropping, as Champagne Papi posted the audio clip on his own stories with the caption “@theuglygram trouble is there tmrw.” Additionally, it wouldn’t be the first time Drake directly connected himself with UK talent, having previously featured Jorja Smith on “Jorja Interlude” and “Get It Together,” Sampha on “4422,” and elsewhere within his studio album More Life.

Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more news surrounding the drop.
