Eco-friendly and British menswear brand L’Estrange has just opened the doors to its newest store in London, located in King’s Cross Coal Drops Yard.
Neighboring Central Saint Martins university, the boutique reflects L’Estrange’s brand ethos and emphasis on biophilic design practices. Co-founders Tom Horne and Will Green continue to expand their vision of minimalistic lifestyle, enlisting UK designers Oliver Heath and Fred Rigby to create a nature-friendly interior.
The retail store aims to connect customers with the great outdoors, welcoming a caring environment that feels like home. With calmness in mind, the location’s original architecture is maintained and features exposed brick walls and locally-sourced wood paneling. The store expresses a tranquil domain, communicated through bespoke furniture and discarded hardwood provided by London’s Fallen and Felled.
A petite selection of L’Estrange’s seasonless garments reside inside, asking consumers to choose wisely. In addition, the brand has partnered with The SAFE Project to create an ambient soundscape, delivering a restful in-store session.
