The HANON x Diadora “Glorious Moments” Pack Honors James McFadden's Paris World Cup Goal
Channeled across Diadora’s Intrepid sneaker and Blue Cross ’07-‘08 jersey.
HANON and Diadora are reuniting to create a celebratory sneaker and jersey pack that honors James McFadden’s notorious 2007 World Cup goal.
The collaboration paints a clear picture and goes back to September 12, 2007, when Scotland hit the field against France in Paris. The game was slow and steady as both teams struggled to score points. Then came the 64th minute, when Scottish goalkeeper Craig Gordon sent the ball to James McFadden. His scoring goal was celebrated across global borders, recalled across HANON and Diadora’s “Glorious Moments” Pack.
Diadora’s Intrepid is kept at the forefront, featuring bold accents reflecting McFadden’s courageous actions. The low-top sneaker is designed with long-haired grey suede overlays, sitting atop white mesh toe boxes and light blue leather accents. The latter lands on the forefoot and medials, while dark blue contrasts the ankle areas. Golden-foiled Diadora formstripes revamp the profiles, besides additional branding on the tongues, heel counters, and rears. The design is complete with VIBRASORB midsoles, tinted bottoms, and custom boxing.
In addition, HANON and Diadora debut a unique jersey inspired by Scotland’s 2007 away kit. The shirt boasts a white textile base decorated with the country’s flag cross. Co-branded hits adorn the chest, while spotted shoulders and tribute text reside beneath.
The HANON x Diadora “Glorious Moments” Pack will launch via a HANON online raffle. It is open for sign-up now and closes on June 2.
