Britain is packed with thriving young talent. From university graduates to foreigners looking for a new beginning, the UK has become a home ground for emerging creatives. London is the focal point of the British fashion landscape, welcoming thousands of ambitious designers yearly.

Since its establishment, Central Saint Martins has birthed the world’s most successful fashion figures — from Alexander McQueen and John Galliano to Phoebe Philo and Christopher Kane. Last night, over 100 graduates bid farewell to CSM’s academic playground and presented their final collections.

The runway show was sponsored by L’Oréal Professionnel, collaborating with renowned stylists to promote hair creativity. Every year, the L’Oréal Professionnel Creative and Young Talent Awards go to three exceptional designers and previously recognized Grace Wales Bonner, Richard Quinn, and more.

Central Saint Martins’ Bachelor of Arts 2023 showcase previewed designs by 134 graduates, ranging from womenswear, menswear, knitwear, and print. The three prize finalists were strong standouts, with Ivan Delogu earning third place. The designer’s perforated clips united amongst cape-like tunics, structured maxi dresses, and floral variations. Embroidered vases collided with blossoming botanics and braided ornamentation, moving onto winged tops and romantic ballgowns.

Alba Matamoros‘s bulbous ornaments earned her second place, creating spherical collars, coat fastenings, and skirt detailing. Her elegant womenswear styles provided hair-encrusted garments, pleated bottoms, and crotchet tops. Finally, Eden Tan earned the largest recognition, creating leather slip dresses, sweat sets, and ribbed suiting made from singular fabric poles. Models carried lengthy textiles that transformed into slitted denim and slashed T-shirts, followed by heritage-filled tartan tops and kilts.

Take a look at all designs from Central Saint Martins’ Bachelor of Arts 2023 runway show above.
