Drama Call Keeps Things in Manchester With New Tunde Collaboration

Manchester-based streetwear brand Drama Call has just presented its latest drop, working in collaboration with Mancunian road rap star Tunde to celebrate the release of his debut mixtape, First Lap.

Over recent times, a slew of UK streetwear brands have connected with British rappers for exclusive capsules. The last few months have seen Clint419’s Corteiz link up with Central Cee, Dave, and Meekz, while other brands such as Jehucal and PICANTE have enlisted more up-and-coming stars, such as Wax and Mush Killa, who are making waves throughout England’s lo-fi rap scene, respectively.

Now, Drama Call is continuing to strengthen its stance within its home of Manchester with an off-the-cuff drop with Tunde. The collection comes after the brand worked with cheeky-chap rhymer Aitch last year, and now this latest release looks to push the 0161 far and wide with one of the city’s most exciting rappers.

The capsule starts with a line of new T-shirts, tapping into Tunde’s love for automotive with racing-styled graphics adorning a long-sleeved black tee alongside a slew of Tunde logo interpretations. Additionally, the back of the shirt is also hit with further designs, with Tunde x Drama Call co-branding sitting alongside the First Lap album artwork. Rounding off the drop, a short-sleeved T-shirt is introduced — in a more minimalist fashion — and it’s complemented with even more co-branding.

Tunde’s debut mixtape, First Lap, is releasing on May 5 with the 17-track project featuring one feature: Potter Payper. The remainder of the mixtape is taken over by a heap of new Tunde material, alongside previously-released rap heaters such as “Fresh Home Freestyle,” “Bruce Lee,” “Crash Bandicoot,” and “Loaf Man.”
