Aimé Leon Dore Summons Its Community for New SS23 Lookbook
Consisting of T-shirts, soccer jerseys, footwear, and much more.

Aimé Leon Dore has just presented its second installment for Spring/Summer 2023, with the New York-based brand giving the spotlight to a diverse range of individuals and talent that make up the ALD community, from designers, musicians, athletes, New York locals, and everything in between.
Following ALD’s previous SS23 lookbook that looked to the lands of Greece, Teddy Santis’ unique outlook on fashion design has been interpreted once again across a refreshing line of new silhouettes, integrating high-quality patterns and textiles alongside a melange of color palettes and fabrications such as leather, knitwear, jersey, and denim.
Santis, a designer who thrives off the hustle and bustle of New York, has tapped into the unique diverseness that commutes through the city on a daily basis. Friends of the brand from NYC and beyond, like Freddie Gibbs, Larry June and Mordechai “Mr. Mort” Rubinstein can be spotted in the images, joined by Big Apple residents from all walks of life, a nod to ALD’s range and regard.
For example, ALD’s latest SS23 range introduces a line of contemporary styles such as tailored button-up shirts — that are recommended to be partnered with coordinating ties — while sports influence is increased tenfold in comparison to previous drops, with a wide range of football jerseys, linen basketball shorts, and fresh iterations of New Era painter caps all being included.
Fresh from its just-announced collaboration with New Balance for a new 1906R silhouette, the collection is complemented by even more footwear as ALD welcomes fresh releases of its classic designs: the Papia Boot and Taverna Loafer. A line of accessories rounds off the collection, and those who are more interested in the finer details in life can get their hands on a wide range of headwear, with new bucket hats taking center stage.
The initial release of Aimé Leon Dore’s latest SS23 collection will arrive exclusively at the ALD concept store (61 Crosby Street, New York, NY), as well as at the ALD London Flagship store (32 Broadwick St. London) and on the brand’s official website from April 28 at 11 a.m. EST.
