Leeds United and Acid FC Partner on Lifestyle Collection

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the club’s anthem.

It’s been several years now since Leeds United were promoted back into the Premier league, after a ten-year hiatus. Unfortunately for the club, they find themselves back in a relegation battle sitting currently at 14th in the table, several points shy of getting demoted to the EFL Championship.

Off the pitch, however, the club looks to make strides in the lifestyle space with a new collaboration with fellow Yorkshire-based design studio, Acid FC. For those unfamiliar, Acid FC works at the intersection of football and culture, having in the past collaborated with clubs — from Red Star FC to Oakland Roots SC.

The latest capsule celebrates Leeds storied (albeit overlooked) history. As the last club to win the English title, the year before the inception of the Premier League, it’s often a nightmare to get a ticket to a match today — home or away — as the club’s devout fanbase comes out to support, regardless of their performance. Inspired by the 50th anniversary of the club’s anthem, “Leeds, Leeds, Leeds”, the collection features a range of hoodies and t-shirts in the club’s signature navy and yellow colorways, several of which feature a mascot waving a scarf, along with a graphic hit that proclaims “UNTIL THE WORLD STOPS GOING ROUND”.

The heavyweight merch is made using raw cotton as a nod to the early cloth trade that began the growth of the city. Shop the full range at Leeds United’s webstore.
