When Martine Rose debuted her Spring/Summer 2023 collection in a latex-clad dungeon, the London-based designer simply stole London Fashion Week before it had really even started. It was a collection filled with Rose-isms that we’ve come to expect, such as twisted and subverted sportswear indebted to something kinkier, formalwear dressed in punk undertones, and on the reverse, party-wear fit for the office.

If you’ve been patiently waiting for the collection to drop, you’re in luck, as it is now available to buy online and from a select number of London-based retailers. On the designer’s e-com site, we find standouts such as the “Military Green” padded bomber jacket that’s complete with ruched sleeves, “Tangerine” lining, and an overall shrunken look per the designer’s signature aesthetic.

Elsewhere, a beige and red shrunken sports jacket continues the awkward proportions that manipulate one’s body, as does the shrunken track jacket in a sheeny, shiny shade of brown indebted to the past. Navy and green track tops bring more sportiness alongside short shorts, foldable sports bags and white socks destined to be worn with the season-appropriate Nike Shox MR4, while those looking for denim are sorted thanks to stretch denim shirts, paint-splattered trousers, and grungey jorts all coming into the seasonal selection.

Take a look at Martine Rose SS23’s best bits above, and shop the wider range online now.
