Just like her Spring/Summer 2023 menswear debut, Simone Rocha continues to steal our hearts with every whimsical creation — presenting an impactful showcase in London’s Methodist Central Hall for Fall/Winter 2023.

Born and bred under Lulu Kennedy‘s Fashion East roaster, the designer joined the talent incubator following her graduation from Central Saint Martins and has established herself as one of the biggest names on the London Fashion Week calendar. For FW23, Simone Rocha welcomed guests into Westminster’s Methodist Church, escorting them into a vast venue dominated by wooden accents and a gigantic musical organ encapsulating the space. A four-member band strummed eerie tunes with sinister energy as models began making their way around the runway — every step loud and clear.

Simone Rocha’s billowing silhouettes walked front and center in neutral tones, while striking notes of red accompanied every look as if dripping with blood. Ribbed fabrics shimmered under the spotlight cemented in gold, dressing metallic coats and dresses with puffed sleeves and an antique finish. Leather ensembles sported fine embroidery at the chest, while distressed lapels settled atop leather outerwear.

The collection’s intricate nature continued with sheer bodysuits embellished with fragile lace detailing and ribbon decor, working alongside upgraded menswear suiting matched with leather skirts and beaded shoulder ornamentation. Loose threads of yarn dangled from woven blazers, quilted bombers, and puffed dresses charged with untied hay while floral badges glistened against every garment with a royal identity.
