Biggest Street Style Footwear Trends From London Fashion Week FW23
Salomon was the popular brand of choice this season.
European fashion month kicks off with London Fashion Week. For this Fall/Winter 2023 season, all eyes were on the UK as stars arrived in the British capital to attend a memorial to celebrate the late-Vivienne Westwood. Later on in the week, Daniel Lee debuted his first collection for Burberry while Moncler Genius delivered a star-studded and show-stopping experience that honored both the brand and their collaborators.
In between all the shows and events, attendees showed off their best street-style looks, of course, paired with some of the most sought-after shoes from the previous months. Showgoers appeared to choose shoes that provided the most comfort, and fit for all the walking and traveling in between shows. Salomon was the brand of choice. One attendee wore the coveted Kar L’Art de L’Automobile and Salomon ACS Pro Advanced collaboration while others opted for the more classic silhouettes like the Salomon XT-4 and XT-6 models. When talking about comfort, ASICS shoes always make an appearance. The newly released Andersson Bell and Asics GEL-Sonoma 15-50 was a technical sneaker to look out for, as the ASICS Angelo Baque x Gel Kayano 14.
Various iterations of the Margiela‘s Tabi shoes were a big hit amongst attendees, making it one of the go-to additions to the outfit. Nike continues to a staple sneaker brand with the Jacquemus x Nike Air Humara at center stage along with the CDG x Nike Air Foamposite and the Martine Rose x Nike Shox Mule MR4. Footwear selection at London Fashion Week showed of some of the industry’s rarest finds to start of the first European fashion week of fashion month.
