adidas Unveils Its Highly-Anticipated Predator 30 Football Boot

adidas Football has just unveiled its brand-new Predator 30 football boot, marking the start of a new era of Predator silhouettes in celebration of the design’s three decades of innovation.

Originally launched in 1994, the Predator was one of the lead football boot designs that played a pivotal role in redefining the football industry, becoming one of the go-to boot choices for some of the world’s most famous players, from Steven Gerrard to the likes of Zinedine Zidane and David Beckham.

Now, the Predator 30 has been unveiled as the most future-facing version of the boot yet, however, it arrives with one of the boot’s most celebrated features from earlier models: the Foldover Tongue.

The iconic Predator Tongue was the hallmark of goalscorers for a full generation of football fans; becoming a stand-out feature on past Predator iterations such as the Predator Mania, Precision, and PowerSwerve. The feature now returns with a softer feel, joined by built-in rubber fins and a tongue strap that allows players to adjust the boot in whatever way they desire.

Additionally, the Predator 30 is hit with a slew of design choices that pay homage to the history of the franchise, including the classic Predator “Eyes” logo, which appears on the underside of the tongue. Meanwhile, the colorway is inspired by the classic red, black, and white of earlier iterations, however, it’s hit with a speckle of burgundy on the upper to mark the 30-year heritage of the franchise.

Only 1994 pairs of the Predator 30 will be available, referencing the year the first Predator was released. Each pair comes in a premium presentation box, containing a commemorative gold plaque, illustrated with some of the most popular Predators in history.
