Samsung's "Solve For Tomorrow" Program Champions Young British Creativity
The competition will award three people with financial rewards and expert-driven mentorships.
It has been a troublesome year for the UK, with a cost of living crisis affecting all industrial sectors. Samsung aims to bring relief by championing current youth through education and financial opportunities.
According to Samsung, “Over one-third (35%) of young people said they have been held back from applying for a job due to a lack of Wi-Fi access, with almost a quarter (24%) saying a lack of data has been a barrier to accessing employment or educational opportunities.” Samsung has re-launched its “Solve For Tomorrow” program, searching for innovation across career-driven young people aged 16-25. The survey was conducted among 1,000 individuals to evaluate their proposals to solve societal issues.
“Solve For Tomorrow” is a visionary competition that utilizes Samsung’s technology to create change in the UK and Ireland. Anyone aged 16-25 can submit ideas to solve difficulties in “Education, Sustainability, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Health and Wellbeing.”
Winning contestants will gain access to immersive workshops and mentorship from Samsung employees. All finalists will receive free Samsung gadgets, while second and third-place winners will earn £1,000 GBP and guidance from industry experts. Finally, The victor will take home £10,000 GBP and participate in business teaching to bring their idea to life.
