Early Look at the Corteiz x Nike Air Max 95 Collab
The London label modifies the Swoosh classic with militaristic shades of green, camo insoles and more.
Since coming onto the scene in 2017, Clint419’s Corteiz label has made collaborative projects and an important component of its brand as it has linked with the likes of UK rap artists Central Cee and Meekz for joint projects as well as Soho Yacht Club and Motherlan. And now the London-based imprint is embarking on arguably its biggest collaborative endeavor to-date: an Air Max 95 team-up with Nike.
Hot off the heels of executing a foreshadowing marketing scheme by projecting its logo across the Nike London store earlier this month, owner Clint419 has just taken to Instagram to tease the forthcoming kicks. Information related to the collab’s inspiration has yet to be announced, but based off of these early leaked images it appears that Corteiz has opted to go with a militaristic motif. Side overlays are done up with multiple shades of green and are topped off by upper layers that mimic the aesthetic of army netting. Tiny lateral side Swooshes have been substituted a Corteiz spell-out while its signature Alcatraz logo is inserted into the tongues. And to further along its military essence, the insoles have been covered with all-over camo print.
Early reports have these slated to release sometime in March, but this has yet to be confirmed.
Elsewhere in sneakers, the Nike KD 15 “All-Star” has been revealed.
