Raheem Sterling’s relationship with Clarks Originals is the gift that keeps on giving. The Chelsea and England forward first established his partnership with Clarks back in 2020 when he was the face of Clarks’ collaboration with A BATHING APE. Sterling then went on to create his first Wallabee silhouette in ode of his clothing line, Sixteen Ninety Two which made its debut during London Fashion Week in 2021. Now, the former Manchester City star is presenting his latest Clarks collaboration.

While Sterling’s previous collaborations have been centered around one shoe, this new drop is the first one to come with three new shoes and a wider apparel collection. Serving as a tribute to Sterling’s birthplace of Jamaica, the collection arrives in a utilitarian-inspired aesthetic with hues of navy, white, ecru, and darker shades of grey. Collection highlights include the FTRE Wallabee Boot in a dark grey colorway. Coming constructed in a durable mix of nylon and suede throughout the upper, it also features a tonal lace-up and a heel pull tab that sits atop the cushioned midsole. Rounding off the design, a lugged rubber outsole has been used for enhanced grip, while the customary Clarks Originals branding can be spotted on the insole and heel.

Other footwear comes in the form of the classic Wallabee silhouette that is constructed with a leather upper in a white colorway. It features lace fastening with a low-cut padded ankle collar to create a more secure fit. A cushioned midsole has also been introduced along with a rubber outsole and a “1692” stamp on the heel. The Wallabee boot rounds off the footwear and it comes in an “Olive” hue. Its mid-rise collar has been designed with added padding while a cushioned midsole is also included.
