Manchester City’s Third Kit Takes Football to the Metaverse
During the first two weeks of the launch, Metaverse players will be able to download a free digital edition of the jersey.
Following the release of Manchester City’s home jersey that pays homage to the club’s legendary striker Colin Bell, PUMA and the current Premier League champions have just presented their official third kit ahead of the new campaign.
The new jersey is City’s first-ever Metaverse kit launch and was unveiled for the first time on Roblox, allowing players to explore and interact with the new kit in the PUMA and Land of Games experience. Now, the new strip is being presented on players and is inspired by Manchester’s distinct and historic street art. Arriving in a spray-paint-effect “Fizzy Light” and “Parisian Night” color palette, the shirt features a hooped design and drawings based on the Manchester Worker Bee, the symbol of Mancunian heritage that represents the working class roots of the city.
For the first two weeks of the kit launch, players who compete and win in the game Football Rush in PUMA and the Land of Games can download a free digital version of the jersey. All other visitors also have the chance to purchase the digital kit in the PUMA gear store on Roblox.
You can have a closer look at Manchester City’s third kit above and it is now available on the official PUMA webstore and the official Manchester City website.
