Callum “Callux” McGinley and Rockwell Princely‘s East London-based sneaker brand notwoways is back, and this time it puts attention on all things minimal with the release of the “Just White.”

Based on its signature, proprietary last and sole unit, the “Just White” is notwoways’ cleanest sneaker to date. Speaking on the upcoming release, the founders said, “Our audience has been asking for a full white since our first drop. But we purposely waited until it was just right. One that’s made to last you a while, one that can be easily cleaned, one that looks better the more you wear it.”

notwoways has combined four shades to create its vision of the perfect all-white sneakers: “Pure White,” “London Cloud,” “Essential Grey,” and “Arctic White.” These tones come together across a premium full-grain leather upper, which also happens to be the finest quality the brand has ever used. Perforations on the mid offer breathability, while the label’s signature branding — formed of “ntw” roundels — appears printed on top of the leather, working the lateral front quarter. More branding appears on the lateral rear-quarter of the sole unit, while fat white laces equipped with metal aglets round out the design.

Sustainably-sourced fabrics have been used to recreate a webbing stripe that segments the mid-panel into two, while the overlapping layers of leather in both smooth and perforated forms continue to add definition to the minimal sneaker.

To finish the pair, notwoways adds phylon technology for added comfort in the sole and a water-repelling spray all over the shoe to keep it as fresh as possible over multiple wears.

notwoways’ “Just White” is set to release on July 9 at 7 p.m. BST/2 p.m. EST and will cost £110 GBP. Sizes UK3-13 will drop on the notwoways website. Take a closer look at the sneaker above.
