London-based technology brand, Nothing, is officially opening the doors to its first-ever retail space this Saturday.

Earlier this year, Nothing — a relatively new player in the tech space – presented its first smartphone, the Phone (1). The futuristic design was led by former Dyson designer Adam Bates, and the phone takes inspiration from artists like Massimo Vignelli who designed New York’s subway map.

However, Nothing’s new two-story space is a fresh opportunity for fans and tech enthusiasts alike to get a closer, in-person look at a new era of technology design. The 785-square-foot store will be open seven days a week and will stock Nothing’s Phone (1) and Ear (stick), along with merchandise and limited-edition products that will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The new store will also be home to clothing and design collections, while Stockholm-based Teenage Engineering will be showcasing its audio inventions.

Striving to be a space where ideas and imaginations can run free, the store is planning to be a meeting point for members of the Nothing community. “2022 has been a milestone year for Nothing with the launch of our first smartphone, Phone (1), as well as Ear (stick),” Nothing’s CEO and Co-founder, Carl Pei said. “We are excited to open the doors of Nothing Store Soho and get even more people hands-on with our products.”

Nothing is enhancing its immersive experience, too; a specially-designed 4,000 flip-dot wall system has been included that can be programmed on the spot to create a constantly-revolving graphic story, while a transparent phone booth has also been installed, where Nothing’s Phone (1) will operate as the official store helpline.

You can take a closer look inside Nothing Store Soho above and the doors will open on December 10 at 4 Peter Street, Soho, London.
