London Clothing Brand PICANTE Is Launching... Picantes
Following the success of a soft launch at its Berenjak collaboration, Jude Taylor and Saam Zonoozi drop their tastiest stuff yet.
From the clothing brand that took Soho to the great outdoors, delivered logomania nostalgia, and a dishy collaboration with cult London restaurant Berenjak, PICANTE now steps into the world of beverages with the launch of its own — you guessed it — picante.
The picante’s claim to fame started at Soho House, particularly at its Miami Beach House outpost. Here, the member’s club would serve its spicy take on a Tommy’s Margarita, dubbed the “Picante de la casa.” Known for its creamy-clear hue and a single Serrano chili resting in ice with a salted rim, the drink became an instant hit abroad — something that was catapulted by the Instagram meme page, Soho House Memes.
Today, it’s more than a drink, but is a household name at the global members club and something that has considerably inspired PICANTE, the brand (which is not affiliated with Soho House). Today, PICANTE launches its own picante drink, inspired by the success of the soft-launch trial at PICANTE’s Berenjak collaboration launch party.
Made with tequila, Serrano chili, fresh lime juice and agave, the creation comes to life courtesy of JKS’ drinks division, Airmail. The duo will be serving up 150ml cans in a pack of six, and only 300 boxes are available. Mixed and canned in London, PICANTE DRINK keeps things on home turf by offering same-day delivery in London and delivery under one hour in certain boroughs — but of course, anyone in the U.K. can purchase.
Head to PICANTE DRINK’s website at 1 p.m. on December 16 to secure your box.
