Emerging U.K. Designer J.L-A.L_ Embraces All "Entanglements" for FW22
Crafted from 3L waterproof materials.
The U.K. is currently a hot spot for creative talent that has the potential to cross all corners of the world. The power of social media has allowed brands to showcase talents like never before and it’s giving independent designers the opportunities to present their work on big stages and receive co-signs from huge labels and industry figures alike. For example, Manchester-based label Clints teamed up with Patta earlier this year and Clints has since gone on to garner followers globally and even open its first flagship store. Another emerging designer who holds the same potential is Jean-Luc Ambridge and his J.L-A.L_ imprint.
With this being said, Ambridge has just presented his latest collection for Fall/Winter 2022 and it explores the use of 3L waterproof materials with taped seams, pit-zips, and adjustable detailing. The collection has been aptly dubbed “Entangled” and unveils a new waterproof trouser-jacket co-ord that comes with a mixture of grey and blue hues throughout. By using paneling detailing across the tracksuit, the trousers feature zipped details on the legs, while the three-layer top is a relaxed-fit silhouette with dropped shoulders.
The intriguing campaign — which you can see above — has been directed by Ambridge and fellow creatives Rory Griffin, Jack West, and Will Pegna and while there is no specific date on when the collection will be available, you can keep an eye on the official J.L-A.L_ Instagram page for more details.
