葛萊美獎因稱 Virgil Abloh 為「嘻哈時裝設計師」而受網友圍剿

上週末，美國錄音學院（The Recording Academy）於葛萊美獎向已故巨擘 Virgil Abloh 致敬。但卻因為將其標記為「嘻哈時裝設計師（hip-hop fashion designer）」而引發爭議。

Virgil Abloh 生前為 Louis Vuitton 和 Off-White 的男裝藝術總監，幾年下來，打破各領域的界線，成功於全球時裝和藝術產業樹立典範，其中包括了與 Nike、IKEA 和樂壇巨星 Kayne West 的密切合作。基於本次事件，不少粉絲在看到葛萊美的標記後紛紛在 Twitter 發聲抗議，他們大多認為 Virgil Abloh 不僅僅是名時裝設計師，甚至包括「嘻哈」兩字都是不必要的。此外，致敬環節甚至沒有提及他曾因為 JAY-Z 和 Kanye West 設計《Watch the Thron》而獲葛萊美獎提名一事。

Virgil’s tribute should’ve just been something along the lines of “GRAMMY Nominated Visual Artist and Fashion Designer”.

Including the word “hip hop” was unnecessary.
