James Gunn 承諾 Disney 決不會干涉《Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3》的製作
影迷們暫時不需要擔心。
執導《Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3》（星際異攻隊/銀河守護隊）的 James Gunn，同時也有著 DC Studios 負責人的頭銜，這樣的重疊身分讓不少影迷擔心，是否會影響到未上映的《Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3》，而今回 James Gunn 就在 Twitter 上親自回覆了此事。
「不，他們不會。他們從未碰過《Guardians of the Galaxy》系列電影的任何東西，最新一集現在已經快完成剪輯了，正處於很棒的狀態內，只有 Fred 和 Greg（我的剪輯師）以及我本人會剪輯電影。」James Gunn 接著回覆另一則留言：「就像所有影業，如果他們不喜歡這部電影，他們就會干涉，如果他們喜歡，他們就不會干涉，這是非常簡單明瞭的事情，我從未被強迫改變任何一部電影，《Guardians of the Galaxy》系列也不例外。」
總之《Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3》的影迷想來應是可以放心，本作也已經在 5 月就殺青完成拍攝，月初才剛釋出前導預告，很快就會在 2023 年 5 月 5 日正式上映，有興趣的讀者不妨持續關注。

Like at all the studios, if the studio doesn’t like the movie, they interfere. If they do, they don’t. It’s pretty simple. I’ve never been forced into a change on any of my movies, including the Guardians films.
