《Harry Potter》延伸電影系列《怪獸與牠們的產地 Fantastic Beasts》正式公佈了其上映日與第三部電影完整片名：《Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore》，與系列前作一樣，這部電影由 J.K Rowling 擔任編劇並由 David Yates 執導。由於先前涉嫌家暴指控，Johnny Depp 已遭 Warner Bros. 從系列中辭退，而他在電影中的角色 Gellert Grindelwald 將由知名演員 Mads Mikkelsen 取代。
