Jared Leto 親自確認接演《Tron 創：光速戰記》最新續集電影
導演人選同步出爐。
七月份時，就已有消息傳出 Disney 計畫開發《Tron》系列電影第三部曲，即代表為 2010 年《Tron: Legacy》後的最新續集。
《Tron》系列電影首部曲於 1982 年正式推出，作為第二部曲的《Tron: Legacy》則在 2010 年登場，評價褒貶不一，但極為炫目的視覺效果與電子世界的建構深得許多影迷喜愛，不過高水準的藝術設計下劇情卻是相當普通，全球票房達 4 億美元票房，Rotten Tomatoes 僅有 51% 新鮮度。
傳聞中的演員人選 Jared Leto 於今日正式證實，本人親自於 Twitter 公布此事，並表示十分興奮接演本片。而尋覓已久的導演一職將由 Garth Davis 出任，據傳他本人十分積極地向 Disney 爭取這項企劃，因此成功獲得青睞，過往成名作品有《Mary Magdalene》與《Lion》。
