溫子仁監製 DC 恐怖英雄影集《Swamp Things》上映一集後即刻宣佈腰斬！？
首集在 IMDB 高達 9.0 分！
DC 網路串流媒體 DC Universe 最新力作《Swamp Things》（沼澤異形）於 5 月 31 日播映首集，並獲得不錯的評價，IMDB 有 9.0 分的好表現，不過近日卻傳出官方已宣佈《Swamp Things》確定不續訂第二季！？主因是指出 DC Universe 在 AT&T 收購 Time Warner 後有了新的經營方針，內部也有不少人對《Swamp Things》的未來發展存在歧見，導致最終只能以一季作結。此外也有傳出是 North Carolina 當地政府原先承諾退稅 $4,000 萬美金，不料最終只能給出 $1,400 萬美金，此落差可謂極大。
其實《Swamp Things》在正式播映前就曲折不斷，原訂的 13 集變 10 集，該劇演員 Virginia Madsen 對此決策更是表示傷心。不過剩餘幾集的播映並不會受到影響，有興趣的讀者仍可觀看該片，並亦可關注《Fantastic Four》之 Marvel MCU 重啟版本或將於 2022 年正式回歸的最新情報。

North Carolina promised a $40m tax rebate that, due to a paperwork error, they were unable to deliver. That was roughly half the proposed budget for s1 (which is estimated at $80m).

When NC discovered the error, the corrected. WB shut down production, realizing they’d be taking a bath on the rebate and paying for far more of it than assumed. The adjusted number from NC is something like $14m. That’s a massive difference.
