知名大導 Martin Scorsese 認為 Marvel 英雄電影系列不能算是「電影」
如今又有知名導演開始批評英雄電影。
知名大導 Martin Scorsese 曾拍攝過《Goodfellas》、《Taxi Driver》、《The King of Comedy》與《The Wolf of Wall Street》等膾炙人口的經典名作，其中《Taxi Driver》與《The King of Comedy》更是近期 DC 大熱電影《Joker》導演 Todd Phillips 表明致敬的作品。
近期 Martin Scorsese 正忙於宣傳新片《Irishman》，並於《Empire》專訪時評論了對 Marvel 英雄電影系列的看法：「我不看那些，我曾嘗試過，你知道嗎？那些不能算是電影（Cinema），就我而言我只能以「主題遊樂園」來形容它們，它們不是那種透過人與人之間傳達情感與心靈體驗的電影。」
“I don’t see them. I tried, you know? But that’s not cinema. Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being.”
此言論當然引起了軒然大波，作為《Guardians of the Galaxy》系列導演的 James Gunn 也跳出發佈看法，他表示 Martin Scorsese 是他熱愛的 5 位在世電影人之一，過去只要有人表示看不懂《The Last Temptation of Christ》，他都會感到很氣憤，如今 Martin Scorsese 會這樣批判 Marvel 英雄電影，他很難過。
That said, I will always love Scorsese, be grateful for his contribution to cinema, and can’t wait to see The Irishman.
