‘s HUMAN MADE
and adidas Originals
have come together yet again for a four-shoe capsule with new takes on the Stan Smith
. Two of adidas
‘s most classic lifestyle silhouettes, the Stan and the Campus serve up a heritage look that Nigo gleefully reinterprets through HM’s signature Ametora
First up is the Stan Smith. Though HUMAN MADE and adidas released a Stan back in February
, this second go-around on the timeless tennis sneaker presents a bolder, more heavily branded look than its predecessor. Built of leather and arriving with green or grey accents, both Stans offer a red HUMAN MADE heart logo on the lateral quarter plus a contrasting tongue with a slightly metallic sheen and an adidas text logo in HM font. Heel pieces use the same metallic material, and are split between “HUMAN MADE” and “DRY ALLS” text hits. Sail midsoles provide a finishing touch of retro style.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Campus serves up a supple suede build in either rich green or airy sky blue. Three Stripe graphics are made of white leather with black “GEARS FOR FUTURISTIC TEENAGERS” spellouts. Heels use white leather as well, and add a printed red HM heart graphic. Much like the Stan Smith, the look is rounded off by sail midsoles.
The HUMAN MADE x adidas Stan Smith and Campus will release at retailers like Nice Kicks
on August 6. Stans are priced at $150 USD and Campuses at $140 USD.
