Always one to remain behind the scenes, Pete Williams continues to be a key figure in driving culture in media today. Pete’s Montreal-based streetwear label Raised by Wolves delivered strong collections that brought comfort and quality to practical designs and collaborations including a capsule with Ebbets Field Flannels. The brand also debuted its first footwear design: a Mountain Cut trainer in collaboration with Filling Pieces, which Williams willingly injected with a Canadian sensibility by fashioning the sneaker after authentic suede Canadian-made moccasins. Further, as the Editor-in-Chief of men’s fashion and lifestyle print publication Highsnobiety, the Canadian creative oversees the editorial content of the popular media site, which kicked off a handful of special events and milestones this year, including 10-year anniversary collaborations with Carhartt WIP, PUMA and KITH, and a handful of successful photo walks in different cities around the world in partnership with the likes of STREET DREAMS MAGAZINE. With RBW’s consistency and ever-growing fanbase, and Highsnobiety surpassing its 10th birthday, 2016 should be a special year for Williams.
