Chicago-born Jerry Lorenzo Manuel, Jerry Lorenzo for short, was a presence in the fashion world this year with the further rise of his contemporary streetwear label, Fear Of God. This year, Lorenzo partnered with American clothing retailer PacSun for a collaborative diffusion line named F.O.G. The new label’s Collection One dropped late November to great critical success while the main line presented a strong Fourth Collection with nylon bombers, denim wear and rugged military silhouettes. Lorenzo also launched his first footwear model -- a hi-top, military-inspired sneaker. His ability to take risks while maintaining the brand’s roots solidifies Fear Of God a favorite among the likes of Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Swizz Beatz and Kendall Jenner.
