Rosa Park leads an international life by any standard -- growing up between Seoul and Vancouver and having attended college in Boston and New York before settling in the historic and very British city of Bath, Park channeled her globe-spanning influences into the creation of the runaway success that has been Cereal Magazine in December 2012, alongside Creative Director Rich Stapleton. Since then, Park has seen her publication flourish worldwide, having struck a chord amongst those yearning for its muted yet refreshing aesthetic, eloquent essays, and a unique perspective on travel, covering unconventional destinations such as Charleston, the Yukon and the Isles of Scilly. This is then neatly packaged in a book-like format, with the magazine organized into chapters and even featuring a bibliography -- the result is a coherent publication in which even the advertising is shot in-house to ensure aesthetic consistency. Now in its eighth issue, the consistently sold-out Cereal has branched into a series of online travel guides, as well as sought-after product collaborations with ESK Cashmere, Void Watches and Honest Skincare. While still a young publication, Park has already carved out a beautiful, monotone niche for Cereal on the shelves of bookstores the world over, with many more eagerly awaiting its arrival.
