Having began his career under the tutelage of Jil Sander, Italian designer Italo Zucchelli eventually landed at renowned minimalist fashion house Calvin Klein, where he soon took the reigns as Men’s Creative Director in 2003. Now more than a decade later with a CFDA award proving his ingenuity, Zucchelli consistently finds new avenues to usher Calvin Klein’s iconic sexy-cool appeal into the world of contemporary fashion, be it through the use of technically-sound fabrics or the fusion of sportswear and formalwear. In 2014 the brand went a step further pairing with hip-hop’s most sensuous lyricist, Drake, on a collection specifically designed for the artist’s latest world tour. This year also saw the clothier pay tribute to its hallmark fragrance Obsession, in addition to its usual release of seasonal collections.
