Ian Paley had the foresight and vision to open his retailer Garbstore outside the fashion bubble of Shoreditch six years ago, electing to set-up shop in Notting Hill. Over the course of the last half-decade, Garbstore has represented more than just retail, having introduced its own eponymous in-house brand as well as partnering with a handful of specially chosen partners each season. The Garbstore-designed Reebok collection in 2014 was among some of the most innovative collections from the American footwear brand and represented an interesting and refreshing take on footwear design that was a testament to the forward-thinking abilities of Paley and the Garbstore team. Paley’s experience in the past as well as a unique interpretation on the culture before us provides him with ample amounts of inspiration that the fashion world can look forward to for many years to come.
