On May 17th, over 500 skaters and spectators got together at the Manhattan Bridge Skatepark to honor and celebrate the 2nd annual Harold Hunter Day. In conjunction with this event, the non-profit Harold Hunter Foundation teamed up with the Zoo York Institute to design a limited edition Harold Hunter Day II commemorative deck and t-shirt, featuring pictures of Harold taken by acclaimed photographer, Giovanni Reda. Both are available at select New York retailers including Rival, Autumn, Everything Must Go, Richmond Hood Company, Blades, DQM, and Homage.
Also, a special bundled kit including the deck, t-shirt, and a signed copy of Reda’s “Harold Hunter: The Book” is available exclusively at KCDC. All proceeds will be donated to the Harold Hunter Foundation. This is a great opportunity not only to honor the legendary skater, but also to give back to the community.
