Greg Hervieux is the co-founder of Parisian creative agency BLACKRAINBOW, also known as BKRW. A native of Paris, Hervieux first discovered hip-hop culture at age 12 from the French television show A chipper a chopper, exposing him to a culture that was still very much non-existent in France during the ‘70s. Having dropped out of school, Hervieux travelled to New York City for a month at age 15, where he found a new identity and lifestyle. Bringing back and sharing this experience in France, Hervieux found a receptive audience, and in 2006 he founded BKRW alongside Jay Smith. Having worked in its capacity as a creative agency with heavyweights from the world of art, fashion, sports and food & beverage, BKRW continues to bridge the gap of such realms through its own innovative approach to communications. Along with the agency, the brand also extends to a streetwear apparel line, a retail location and a publication offshoot.
