Known for his work with Nike and his iconic action figures, Korea’s Coolrain recently presented
Artist Dave White has had a large part in this year’s Malaysian leg of Nike Dunk celebrations. He was on hand to paint a series of portraits depicting the original colorways of the Nike Dunk in a style which has become well known amongst sneaker heads.

On the heels of yesterday’s Nike x Dave White x Sole What? t-shirt, details have become clear as the t-shirt is part of Malaysia’s Be True To Your School release. The release event features artwork from artist Dave White with a variety of portraits depicting the original BTTYS colorways. The festivities will hit Sole What? on Friday.

Malaysian sneaker store Sole What? has a surprise cooked up with the likes of Nike and artist Dave White. The sneak peek at the t-shirt appears to benefit cancer research with the cancer ribbon seen on the sleeve. The t-shirt and project is set to launch February 15th at 7:00 pm.

Pop culture artist Dave White sat down for an interview outlining his The Good, The Bad & The Ugly submission for the upcoming Fame Collective at Art Basel Miami Beach set to kick off in the next few days. The upcoming portraits offer a preview of the combination of DC Comics and Marvel Comics Super Heroes captured through the eyes of Dave White. The interview can be seen over at Freshness.

At this year’s Art Basel Beach 2007, a special invite-only FAME-Collective exhibition will take place. The showcase of talent will include new unreleased works from some of the world’s most renowned artists such as Dave White, Futura, Stash, Ron English, Jeremy Fish, Sam Flores and Mars-1 among others. This event will take place for a short period of time between December 4th – 8th, in South Beach, Miami at FAME-Collective’s 5,000 sq ft., 4-story gallery. This opportunity will only bestowed via an invite and will also include parties alongside some of South Beach’s hottest night spots.
