Linda is no stranger to building from the ground up as she designed and launched the first women’s Obey line back in 2003 and then moved on to play an instrumental role in launching Luxirie by LRG. The inspiration behind the new women’s line is drawn from Burton’s hi-tech features like hidden pockets and detachable/reversible amenities found in their outerwear, but applying them so that they are entirely functional in addition to being fashionable. The Burton Streetwear line makes use of all types of premium fabrics such as genuine leather, technical nylons, and luxurious cashmere. The idea was to build upon a daybag line that was specific to the end use while taking a step away from the traditional aesthetics of the snow pack design. After a number of concepts, round-tables and work within the collective process, The Brown Buffalo narrowed it down to a group of bags that reflected the brand.
