O Guggenheim Museum Bilbao lança sua nova in situ série com Living Architecture: Gehry, uma instalação digital de Refik Anadol. Utilizando um modelo de IA personalizado treinado com esboços, fotos e plantas de Frank Gehry, o trabalho transforma os projetos do arquiteto em paisagens audiovisuais em constante mudança. A instalação explora a interseção entre arquitetura, tecnologia e aprendizado de máquina.

Desenvolvido pelo Refik Anadol Studio, o Large Architecture Model (LAM) utiliza IA generativa para criar novas formas inspiradas no estilo de Frank Gehry. A obra se desdobra em seis capítulos, mostrando a evolução dos dados em estruturas abstratas e oníricas. Uma paisagem sonora criada por Kerim Karaoglu também é apresentada, combinando áudio gerado por IA com gravações do museu. Além disso, a experiência imersiva foi construída com dados obtidos eticamente e práticas sustentáveis de computação.

Living Architecture: Gehry é a primeira exposição na série in situ series which focuses on site-specific works that engage directly with their environment. Curated by Lekha Hileman Waitoller, the show is on view in Galleries 204 and 208 through October 19.
