Description

YOON is a Korean-American designer, blogger, DJ, international style icon and co-founder of Japanese jewelry brand AMBUSH®. YOON is also on the board of creative directors for VEXABOX, a division of Avex, one of Japan’s biggest record labels, where she helps with many corporate clients and artists. YOON co-founded AMBUSH® in 2008 together with her now-husband, designer and Japanese rapper VERBAL. What began as an experimental jewelry line that aimed to capture a Tokyo aesthetic has now progressed into a leading unisex jewelry brand known for its idiosyncratic and eclectic styles that are also embodied by the personal styles of VERBAL and YOON. The duo is considered an important intersection point across several cultural pillars. Their involvement in music, street and high fashion, and the intersection between Japan and the outside world have made the dynamic duo ambassadors and vehicles of culture and creativity. Their creative output aligns with unorthodox design inspiration and execution through AMBUSH® with its innovative styles and eye-catching motifs.
