Description

Robert Geller is a German-born American fashion designer. He is married to fashion designer Ana Beatriz Lerario, the designer of Lerario Beatriz. He has a fashion design degree from RISD where he graduated in 2001. Shortly after graduation he moved to New York and started a job with American fashion house Marc Jacobs, where he met and worked with his future wife Lerario, Geller founded menswear clothing brand Cloak together with patternmaker Alexandre Plokhov (whom he also met while working at Marc Jacobs). Although their brand won a few notable awards, Geller left Cloak after the release of the 2004 fall collection. In 2006, Geller founded Harald, a womenswear clothing brand that began as a knitwear line before evolving into a full fledged collection, and launched Geller back into the international spotlight in the fashion world. Subsequent profitable success enabled Geller to launch his eponymous menswear label, Robert Geller, which debuted at New York Fashion Week in fall 2007.
