This is something I have done, not for dry cleaning but for several other things. When a business screws me over, my goal is to cost them $1000 for every dollar I feel like they owe me. Progressive insurance screwed me over and refuses to reimburse me the $150 they owe me. I call a friend that works at Geico. I get 10 business cards from them that has an extra 10% off first 6 months. Print out 400 more on card stock.I go out of my way to be extra social so I can tell my personal story and hand the card out to anybody who said they had Progressive. It took me 2 years but I eventually handed out every single card. Gold Gym refused to cancel my membership. I took 2 days off work and stood in the lobby and told my story to every potential new member until they cancelled my membership. They would not reimburse me for the 3 months they refused to cancel it. I printed out 800 flyers with my story on it. Every day on my way home, or way into work I would tape one to a new telephone pole and place one on the windshield of every car parked there. Dentist office screwed me over, put a complaint into the attorney general and dental licensing board. Went on their facebook, google reviews, yahoo reviews and yelp reviews. Contacted every single person that had a complaint and walked anybody who was willing through the process of filing a complaint with both offices. They ended up losing their license in my state and moved to Minnesota. Cell phone carrier overcharges, don't pay it and let it go to collections.Record yourself giving them your work phone number with date and advise them you're not allowed to take debt collection calls at that number. Send any calls directly to voicemail.Repeat until you have 4-5 collection voicemails. Contact your local debt collection attorney and threaten to sue for violating the FDCPA. Collect your settlement and force them to delete it from your credit report. I'm not a total asshole though. I go out of my way to leave positive reviews and fill out surveys when the experience was normal-good. I tip 25% and give my pizza guy $5 and $10 in bad weather.

[Image] A U.S. Army medevac crew member attempts to revive a Marine mortally wounded in an IED (improvised explosion device) blast near the town of Marjah in Helmand province in this picture taken August 22, 2010. REUTERS/Bob Strong “It was during an embed with a U.S. Army medevac unit based at Camp Dwyer in Helmand province. The Marine had lost a lot of blood from gunshot wounds and had no vital signs by the time we picked him up and the medic started working on him. The medic later told me that the soldier was almost certainly clinically dead by the time he was loaded onto the chopper, but in spite of that he and the flight engineer performed CPR for 20 minutes until we reached the hospital. There was a contrast between the medic’s frantic efforts to save a life and the Marines' faraway glazed eye that was very poignant to me. Embed rules prohibit photographers from sending any images of deceased soldiers until their families have been notified and it wasn't until several days later that I saw the soldier's obituary and filed my pictures. “
