A.P.C. Petit New Standard Fit

One size down for everything when it comes to Petit New Standard. Which specific ones are you going for? Keep it mind that some of them have a small percentage of the stretch fabric, so that would help if you're afraid of the jeans being too tight when you size down. I own and wear a pair of raw Petit New Standard. I think they have the best fit out of any jeans I've ever worn, although I should have sized down one. They fit me really snug when I first wore them, but they stretched out considerably, to the point where they end up sagging at times, which I find is an annoyance. The lesson here is to size down one so that this doesn't happen. I can't speak much of the washed Petit New Standards because I've never owned, worn, touched, or seen them in person, but I don't think you can go wrong with them for a good price.

I hope you guys had a great Christmas if you celebrated it. This holiday season has been bittersweet for me. I started working a seasonal job. I like the simplicity of it as well as the people there, but it really made me realize how much I should value my free time and money more. I will no longer care about what people think of me as much as I did before. There's no point in exerting my mental energy on something like that. I should do what makes me happy. I don't really have that many friends, but I hope I will soon. I'll be talking to people with ease because I won't care as much about what they think of me. I'm sad that the holiday season is just about done for me with the exception of New Year's Eve and New Year's Day coming up. It's sad that the Christmas songs aren't playing anymore. It's sad that the decorations are being taken down. I'm just looking forward to making 2017 my year of greatness by choosing to be happy. If being around certain people gives me the slightest bit of unhappiness, I'll choose not to be around them. Choices like that add up. I'll also be more decisive and do what I want if I'm thinking about it for a while.

I don't have anything special I want to get for Black Friday. I think my clothing has simplified down to whatever feels the most comfortable. I'm content for now, but I do want black denim and a good jacket.

The Weeknd and Daft Punk's "I Feel It Coming" is great. Secondly, what do you guys think of this hoodie? Should I get it or is it too corny and tacky? [Image]

[Quote] I didn't mean working there as a long-term career. I just mostly want a job that will get me through the years financially as I finish up college, but now that you mention it, I'm considering doing something like what you suggested.

[Quote] Nice quoting skills. Also, you're clearly talking to us about your problems. Not so hard, is it? Don't put up a front like you're all so tough and independent, man. Just accept your faults and talk to people about it like you're talking to us about it.

Do you think it's worth working at Hollister as a stock associate? I'd be in the backroom, managing the inventory. I have mixed feelings about this bcause I might be able to work for a hardware store owned and run by a family. That might be the better choice for me, but the environment at Hollister seems chill. It seems like there's a teamwork aspect to it and I might end up making new friends if I work there. However, I think I'd have more of the drive to work at the hardware store since the people who run it seem like nice, good people I'd like to help out even if that means going above and beyond for them. I might even do things for them that I won't be paid for. Thoughts?

[Quote] Let's face it. People wouldn't even be thinking Kaepernick is a black guy if it weren't for his afro. The first time I saw Kaepernick, I didn't think there was any black in him.

I'm not going to bother driving to a mall that's about ten or more miles away just for fun anymore. Window shopping at malls just isn't even worth it to me. It's kind of mentally draining. Too many people, dealing with the crowd, having to act like I'm there to buy something around sales associates, the gas, the time, and the traffic really add up.

I'm likely going ot get the wool-acrylic collar of my varsity jacket replaced with a cotton-blend, suede, or leather collar. Which should I choose? It's basically an all-black varsity jacket with your usual wool body and leather sleeves. Everything else feels fine except that collar, and this might be due to how there's some acrylic in the collar.
