故コービー・ブライアントは生前に Nike を離れ自身のスニーカーブランド Mamba を立ち上げ予定だった
〈Mamba〉でローンチされる予定だったスニーカーのサンプル画像も公開
アメリカ・ロサンゼルス北西部のカラバサスで起きた悲劇から早くも1年が経とうとしているが、Kobe Bryant（コービー・ブライアント）が生前に自身のブランドを立ち上げ予定だったことが判明。
起業家、ベンチャーキャピタリスト、投資家など、多くの肩書きを持つShervin Pishevarが、Kobeの亡くなる約1ヶ月前の2019年12月のエピソードを明かしている。その時点でKobeは契約先の〈Nike（ナイキ）〉に対して不満を抱いており、2020年に同社を離れ、自身のブランド〈Mamba（マンバ）〉を立ち上げ予定だったという。さらにPishevarはその〈Mamba〉でローンチされる予定だったスニーカーのサンプル画像も下記ツイート内で公開している。
