やはり、パリ・ファッション・ウィークは唯一無二の存在である。今は北欧や韓国など、4大都市開催以外が面白い、なんて言葉を耳にしたりもするが、花の都で行われる服飾の祭典はシーンそのものを投影し、常に我々にファッションというカルチャーの明るい未来を提示してくれる。
『HYPEBEAST（ハイプビースト）』でもファッション偏差値の高い業界人を前に披露されるランウェイや、最前線の舞台裏などを掻い摘んでレポートしてきたが、職業柄か、どうしても“足元”に目がいってしまう。そこで本稿では、パリ・ファッション・ウィーク期間中に発表された『HYPEBEAST』的ベストスニーカー TOP 10を発表。あくまで独断と偏見であるが、以下をスクロールしていただければ、昨年まで大流行だったチャンキースニーカーの流れも落ち着いていることがわかるだろう。もちろん、日本のブランドも数多く、否、結果として半分が日本を拠点とするブランドのものとなった。
