Hypefest: A festival showcasing the best of culture

This fall, the leading authority on culture, ​Hypebeast Group,​ will launch its very first experiential​ ​platform that brings the best of art, creativity, fashion, music and more to life in New​ ​York City. Taking​ ​place on October 6-7th, ​Hypefest will serve as a cultural platform to learn more about the convergence of all different aspects of fashion, art, music and brands in an immersive way. Unlike any other festival of its kind and beyond just a shopping event, Hypefest will be a highly-curated and educational​ ​experience, hosted within a premium unexpected showcase.

These world-class leaders and leading forces in their respective fields will be lending their expertise to help curate the Hypefest experience.

Hypefest Committee Members:

Hiroshi Fujiwara​ is known as the godfather of the ura-harajuku fashion scene. His fragment design imprint continues to release collaborations with​ ​global brands such as Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Nike and more.

Sarah Andelman​ was the Creative Director of Colette, a chic multi-label​ ​concept store in Paris from 1997 to 2017. She is famed for discerning​ ​fashion edits and curating a quirky mix of lifestyle products. She now runs “Just An Idea,” a consulting company building bridges between disciplines.

Kevin Ma​ is the founder and CEO of Hypebeast Group, the world’s foremost​ ​authority on culture. Hypebeast is the global curator of lifestyle, spanning multiple digital and experiential platforms. Kevin has earned Hypebeast accolades in Business of Fashion, Fast Company and more.

Prominent elements of Hypefest include 50+ highly engaging ​on-site stores ​powered by Shopify,​ several outstanding art installations including AKIRA with appearance of Mr. Otomo and his collaborator Mr. Kawamura, Japanese artist Yoshirotten and LA-based artist Steven Harrington, an unparalleled music stage with world renowned DJs and performers, a Hypetalks panel discussion area led by Jeff Staple, a highly-curated kids space with custom products by artist Kevin Lyons, and outstanding cuisine from the best of NYC and beyond.
